Saturday, 1st October, 7pm – An Evening with Darren Middleton

Rev Darren Middleton, Methodist Minister and Army Chaplain, will be coming to SMc again to speak about his journey from ballet dancer to Methodist Minister.

This will be your last opportunity to hear Darren speak as he is to be posted away in January. Those of you who came before to hear him talk about his experiences, especially with the troops in Sierra Leone, will remember what an informative and entertaining event it was. Unfortunately, due to a shortage of chaplains at present, he will not be taking any more services on the Salisbury Circuit plan. Tickets for the supper and further details will be available later .

Alpha course at SMC

We plan to start an Alpha Course at SMC at the beginning of October. This is for anyone who wants to revisit and take a fresh look at the basics of Christianity, as well as people who are new to the Christian faith. It runs for 10 weeks and is based on brief talks followed by group discussions where no question is too simple or too challenging. Please speak to Pam and Mike Bath, Jenny and Bernard Robert, Vera Parker or Gwen Leslie if you want to find out more. We have all been involved with Alpha Courses, and want to share this learning and growing experience with you.
