HOLLAND CODE assignment.
Using the Holland Code to determine your career choice is just another way to find where you belong. In this exercise, you will identify your Holland Code, add it to your powerpoint, and then explore careers and clusters that satisfy your particular code.
1. Students identify Holland Code (handout) and add powerpoint slide to All About Me.
2. Students identify cluster associated with Holland code and their interests.

AND
To identify one activity or hobby that you can do now to expose yourself to this cluster.
*Find at least five careers within your chosen cluster. To identify, you may need to look beyond the descriptions. Don’t rely on the short job description to make your decision. Clicking on a career will show you wages and outlook, what you do on the job, working conditions, education and knowledge, technology and tools used. Use these descriptions to help you narrow down your choices. Remember your work values assessment (income, prestige, innovation, etc.)? When looking at these careers, make sure the ones you choose fit what your work values assessment was important to you. For example, if innovation was at the top of your list, and the typical working conditions states that you don’t have the freedom to make decisions, that job is not for you. What about your Myers-Briggs personality assessment? When looking at a career, keep this code in mind as well. For example, if it says you have to deal with people all day and you are an introvert, this job might not be for you.
Now, do the same thing for your second choice cluster.
4. Add a powerpoint slide that compares and lists your two clusters with five jobs that you have identified for each as demonstrated during lecture.
