Sealed Tender for the works mentioned below are invited by the Dy.Chief Commercial Manager ( FS ), S.E.Railway, 14, Strand Road (8th Floor ) Kolkata -700001, for and on behalf of the President of India, from the experienced, financially sound and reliable contractors having established credentials in the following field.

Tender must be accompanied with the requisite EMD in the acceptable form as mentioned in the tender document, without which the offer will be summarily rejected.

10) / Essential Requirements / : / The tenderer shall submit the details of the vehicle(s) during tendering viz :
I) Valid Registration Certificate of the vehicle under Commercial category issued by the competent authority.
II) Valid Registration Certificate issued by the competent authority as taxi service provider or operator in the State of West Bengal.
III) Registration/Insurance/Fitness certificate of the vehicle being provided.
11) / Documentary evidences in respect of Essential Requirements duly attested must be submitted along with the tender. No correspondences will be entertained in this matter what so ever after opening of the tender. The tenderer should also submit the following documents along with their tender:
a) List of private vehicles/taxis available on hand (own) suitable for road worthy with respective date of purchase, make, model etc. with details of Registration certificate, Insurance premium paid up, Tax clearance etc.
b) List of similar works successfully executed/completed in any Govt./Semi
Govt. organization in the last three financial years with copies of such
contract documents.

12) / Tender Documents can be obtained from the office of the Chief Commercial Manager (FM), South Eastern Railway, 14, Strand Road,(8th Floor ) Kolkata-700001, during the office hours on any working day as mentioned above on written application and production of original Cash Receipt of Rs.2,000/ (Rupees two thousand only) (Non Refundable and Non Transferable) issued by the Chief Cashier, South Eastern Railway, 11, Garden Reach Road, Kolkata-700043. Alternatively, the Tender documents can also be down loaded from NIC’s web site (http://www.tenders.gov.in) or from the S.E.Railway Website (www.ser.indianrailways.gov.in). Such down loaded Tender form, if furnished, shall have to be accompanied either with the requisite original cash receipt after payment of the requisite tender cost with the Cash Office, S.E.Railway as mentioned above or demand draft in favour of FA&CAO/S.E. RAILWAY/GRC. Down loaded Tender document not accompanied with the requisite tender document cost, shall be summarily rejected.
Any clarification in this regard can either be obtained from the Dy.Chief Commercial Manager ( FS ) ,South Eastern Railway, 14 Strand Road (8thFloor), Kolkata-700001, during the office hours as mentioned above.
13) / Original tender papers shall be dropped in the tender box available for the purpose in the office of the Chief Commercial Manager (FM) , S. E. Railway, 14, Strand Road (8th Floor ) Kolkata-1, upto 13.30 hrs of 24.04.2015, which will be opened on the same day at 14:30 hrs. Tenders received after 13.30 hrs on 24.4.2015 will not be considered.
14) / The Contractor shall have to sign the ‘Mandate Form’ giving details of their Bank Accounts and enclose with the tender along with a blank cheque duly cross marked.
15) / No Tenders will be received by Registered post. The Railway Administration have reserved the right to modify and cancel the tender without assigning any reason thereof.

17) / In case the date of opening of tender is declared as a Holiday, the tender will be
dropped/opened on the next working day at the same time and place.

Sub: Hiring of 1 (one) No. commercially registered Air-Conditioned Vehicle (Tata Indigo / or similar) for 2 (two) years for the exclusive use of CCM (FM)/SER/KOL-1.
1. Ref: Your Tender No.RE / 5 / CCM / Tender of Vehicle / 2015-16 to be opened on 24.4.2015.
I/We ………………………………………………………….. have read the various conditions to tender attached hereto and hereby agree to abide by the said conditions. I/We also agree to keep this tender open for acceptance for a period of ninety (90) days from the date fixed for opening the same and in default thereof. I/We will be liable to forfeiture of my/our “Earnest Money Deposit”. Notes :
1. The quantities shown in the above schedule are indicative only and are as a guide to give the tenderer/s an idea of quantum of work involved. The Railway reserves the right to increase/decrease and/or to delete or include the quantity given above.
2. In case the rates in percentage ‘Above’ or ‘Below’ are not quoted properly, either ‘Above’ rate will be considered or the offer of the tenderer(s) will be rejected for improperly quoted rates. Similarly, if the rates in words and figures both are not tallying, the tender will be rejected. Conditional offers and offers with conditions, rebates will not be considered and will be summarily rejected.
3. The monthly hire charge shall be quoted (as against 1.1 and 1.2 above) considering an average service/operation of the vehicle for 25 days per month @maxm. 12 Hrs. per day / maxm. 300 Hrs. per month] and maxm. 1500 Km/month.

4. The offered monthly hire charges [Fixed hire charges & Running expenses per month, as above] shall cover and include all major/minor repairs including timely servicing of the vehicle, cost of fuels, lubricants, insurance, taxes and any other consumable required time to time, Driver’s salary including the expenses for providing Mobile Phone to the Driver for official communiqués and all other allowances, all taxes, duties, incidental charges, penalties etc. including the desired Toll Tax for as imposed by the Central/State Government or local bodies for running the vehicle shall be paid by vehicle provider.
5. Any additional service/operation of the vehicle beyond 300 hour/1500 Km. in a month shall be paid at the same quoted & accepted rates of 1.1 and 1.2 above, as enumerated in detail in the Special Conditions.
6. Tenderer has to sign all the pages.
7. The road vehicle will be hired for the period of 24(twenty four) months from the date of issue of the Letter of Acceptance.
8. S.E.Railway, Engineering deptt G.C.C. and Standard specification – 2001 with correction slips will also applicable over and above special conditions.
