  1. Please briefly describe how you have familiarized yourself with the key issues in research with vulnerable groups including refugee and asylum seeking children and survivors of human trafficking:
  1. Please describe measures you have taken in the research design, and will take throughout the research process to ensure that the ‘do no harm’ principal is maintained. Please in particular address action taken to ensure that participants are not made to relive distressing events from the past; how you will establish a child or young person-friendly research environment; and how you will communicate clearly about the impact (or lack of impact) of the research.
  1. Please describe the process you will adopt to obtain consent from participants, whether the consent will be written or verbal and why, and how you will ensure that this consent is informed, not obliged.
  1. Please describe how you will ensure that the language used in the research is appropriate to the literacy and communication levels of the young people involved in the research. Provide examples of how you will enable young people with low or non-existent literacy to participate in the research if applicable.
