General instructions
This template gives a general overview over the structure of your bachelor thesis and at the same time represents the style sheet you are asked to use.
Please use the styles inserted into this word document (in the Quick Style Gallery) in order to format your thesis.
Please put references in footnotes[1] using this form (Mustermann 2005) or (Mustermann, Doe 2005). This happens automatically if you use RefWorks[2] and format your references with the “Harvard” style.
Please delete all fields marked in grey and fill in your own information.
Your bachelor thesis should have 30-40 pages, including the table of references and footnotes but excluding all other lists and appendixes.
3Instructions to format
A headline on the first layer indicates a new chapter. The continuous text should be formatted with the style “paragraph”. If you do manual hyphenation please use “Ctrl” and “-“.
3.1Figures
Figures should be inserted centred
Please insert titles for the figures using Word’s options to insert captions (References – Insert Caption). Please format with the text style „BA caption“. For example:
Figure 1 : The Music Business
