- Read Matthew 6:9-15. Now that God has given you new life, you will want to talk with Him often. Jesus says that this is an example of how we should pray.
Our new life begins by confessing our sins because we know God will forgive us. In verses 14 and 15, Jesus tells us we must also forgive others for what they do to us. For the next two weeks, you are to put some real effort into the forgiving part of your life. Each day, think of the things you have done that you want to ask God to forgive. Think, too, of the things others have done to you that you should forgive when they ask. Pray about both. Then write these things down in your chart on the next page.
