Associations) / Prof. Dr. Maged El-Ghazouly currently works as the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Drug manufacturing and Professor in the Pharmacognosy Department, Pharos University in Alexandria, since 2010.
He had previously held the following positions:
1. Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmacognosy, Faculty of Pharmacy - Beirut Arab University from 09.01.2005 till 01.09.2008.
2. Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy - Alexandria University for Community Service and Environmental Development from 03.23.2002 till 01.09.2005
3. He also worked as a visiting professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy - Beirut Arab University for the years 1998.1999 2000.2001, 2002.2003, 2004.2005 and a visiting professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy - University of Jordan - Amman - starting from 12/09/1995 until 13/12 / 1995.
4. Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy - Beirut Arab University starting from 09/30/1992 until 01/10/1993.

11. He received the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmacognosy) from the Faculty of Pharmacy - University of Alexandria in 12/04/1976, and was appointed as a Lecturer, Department of Pharmacognosy, Faculty of Pharmacy - Alexandria University from 06.29.1976.
12. He earned a master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmacognosy) from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Alexandria on 25, March 26, 1973, and was appointed an Assistant Lecturer, Department of Pharmacognosy, Faculty of Pharmacy - Alexandria University as of October 1973.
13. He earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the Faculty of Pharmacy - University of Alexandria in June 1969 with very good grade of honor, and was appointed a Demonstrator at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacognosy - Alexandria University starting from 12.06.1969.
