Nursing Advisory Boards this afternoon. Good brainstorming session at NTC – very engaged conversation.

3.  COMMUNICATIONS & MARKETING – SCOTT FAUST STANDING AGENDA ITEM

NTC recruitment and marketing brainstorming session. Text inquiry? Will follow up on departments who want to do “one sheet” flyers.

4.  COURSE ROTATIONS IN ISRS CARRYOVER RANDY

Good news – rotations have been found. Will be added to ISRS and Michelle will work with web services to get them added to the web.

5.  dean’s retreat carryover martin

January 4, 2016 – noon – 3 pm – mayflower planning room

6.  university scholars attachment 1 randy

Reviewed draft process from Randy. Annual award/recognition, up to $6000 contractually. Supported by department, dean, provost and decision made by President. Awarded at commencement, fall start up, or convocation. Process will go to meet and confer. Call will go out in January.

7.  HLC update bob

Draft report is being reviewed by evaluation team. May still be 2-3 weeks out. Advisory board meeting at NTC tonight will still happen.

8.  ntc enrollment bob

Jan 5 and 6 – in-service dates. Working on agenda, may include TaskStream, implementation of brainstorming sessions on recruitment and marketing. Currently down 6.6% for spring semester. New admissions staff person starting tomorrow.

9.  MAP ENROLLMENT MARTIN

Need to go through each of the four goal areas to see if the work has been done or what we still need to do, to keep on our radar as we go into our last year with the MAP. Goal area 1 – Colleen; Goal area 2 - Sheila; Goal area 3 - Shawn; Goal area 4 – Troy. Send Martin what remains from each area.

10.  FINANCIAL RECOVERY PLAN MARTIN

Mandatory system plan for colleges and universities who have a budget deficit. Includes remodeling costs from institutional funds. Contract settlements and health care costs are also part of this. Plan for carry forward into a holding account will continue. Report must be completed by Jan 5.

11.  MMB / RESPECTFUL WORKPLACE & MEDIATION MARTIN

BSU does not have a current policy on workplace civility. MMB proposal is in process down state.
