  2. Red Cross Style Guide (PDF) provides writers with the correct punctuation and writing style consistent throughout American Red Cross communications. In addition, downloadable logo and slogan art is available at
  3. Information Release (PDF) form (#5244) gives the Red Cross permission to use information about and likenesses of people in your photographs, publications, etc. Advisors should have all club members and parent/guardian(s) sign this form as needed and keep a copy on file.
  4. Sample Press Release (Word file) provides writers with a template to use and localize with current project or activity information. It is important that the Chapter is kept informed regarding planned activities prior to their occurrence. Due to the longstanding relationship between the Red Cross and the media, it is very common for the chapter to receive calls regarding the confirmation of third-party activities.
