Fixing: Secure each clip to substrate with two fixings.

Clip Centres upslope typically at 1260mm. Reduce centres typically to 660mm at ridge and eaves, perimeters and high wind load areas.

Penetrations such as flues, vents and access hatches to be weather proofed using Roll-A-Flex as supplied and installed by MR Site Services .

Photo Voltaic mountings, walkways and other roof mounted equipment to be provided by Euro Clad Ltd or a Euro Clad Ltd approved supplier.

H31/196INTEGRITY OF CLADDING/ COVERING

Requirement: Design sheet , coverings/ flashings and methods of attachment to prevent loss of weathertightness and permanent deformation due to wind pressure or suction.

Wind loads: Calculate wind loads to BS 6399-2.

Standard fixing arrangement load capacities:

Positive load: limited by supporting structure performance (sheet must be fully supported).

Negative/suction load:

Where clips are at 1.260M centres = 1.5kN/M²

Where clips are at 0.660M centres = 2.0kN/M²

Where suction loads are between 2.0kN and 4kN, centres should be adjusted down to 300mm.
