Hello All,
We're nearly 3 weeks away from our Climate Literacy summer workshop at MSU, and we're looking forward to meeting all of you. We have some additional details to pass along, as well as more information we need from you, so please respond. (All questions requiring responses are highlighted with **)
1. Emergency Contact Information:
** Please send me the name and phone number of someone who can be notified in the event of an emergency.
2. Software Download:
If at all possible, please download and install on your computers two software programs we will use during the workshop. Waiting until the workshop to download these programs can be frustrating or impossible due to the demand we’ll place on the local network.

Find Google Earth at: http://www.google.com/earth/index.html
Both are free, widely used, and safe to load on your computer.
3. Dorm Residents:
The dorms will be available for check in on Sunday afternoon between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
If you plan on arriving on Sunday but cannot make it by 7, please let me know as we will have to make special arrangements.
For dorm residents planning to arrive on Monday morning June 17, you will not be able to check into the dorm until after the workshop session ends Monday afternoon, so make sure you have easy access to the things you’ll need during the day on Monday.
** Let me know which of the following is your plan:
A. Arrive at Critz Hall on Sunday afternoon between 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM
B. Arrive on Sunday but it is impossible for me to check in between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM
C. Arrive on Monday morning and will check into the dorm after the Monday session ends.
4. Sunday Evening Dinner June 16:
We are planning an informal gathering at a restaurant in Starkville on Sunday evening. All workshop participants who are in the area Sunday are welcome to join us. We’ll gather at the restaurant at 7:15 PM. As with all evening meals during the workshop, dinner is not paid for by the program, so bring your purse or wallet.

5. Join our Facebook Group:
If you want to see who else is coming to the summer workshop, join our Earthlabs Climate MS Summer workshop Facebook Group. The group is Closed so only workshop staff and participants can join.
