-Docents: Dennis Condon provides commentary on Edvins Strautmanis’ Phoenix, one of 27 artworks they learn about during the Docent Orientation Program.

-Docents: As a Docent, you’ll help conduct tours of the park to students like these, from Evergreen High School. The students are engaged and curious about sculpture, art, and 3-dimensional design. You can open their eyes to a new way of looking at the world.

Docents help with special events, such as the Summer Sol-A-Bration. Joyce Horath is helping a young artist select materials for their next masterpiece.

You’ll be invited to free talks and meet artists like Neil Goodman, shown here during his visit to campus in Fall of 2010.

-Docent: Docent’s know what’s up in the park and get the first information on the comings and goings of artwork. Here we see Clement Meadmore’s Spiral being returned to a new location after being conserved in Chicago.

-Docent: There will be opportunities to help the park at development events such as our Carts & Cocktails. Nick Battaglia, a member of the 2008 Docent Class spoke about Illinois Landscape No. 5.

-Docent: Docents are an integral part of Carts & Cocktails, providing assistance and enjoying the afternoon at the same time.

-Docent: Just another day of docent-ing. Here’s the view under the tent at Carts&Cocktails.
