6.  President's Report:

I just like to say “Welcome Back Everyone” I hope you all had an enjoyable and fun summer with some time off to relax. September is a busy month and I have a few topics on the Agenda to discuss.

Ø  September 11th there is an Executive Committee Meeting: Location is the Sheraton Hotel 6 Industrial Way in Eatonton, NJ at 8:30 a.m.

Ø  The 2015 Fall Technology Transfer Seminar: Will be held September 14-17, 2015 at the Sheraton Hotel 6 Industrial Way in Eatontown, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity to obtain your (TCH’s) Training Contact Hours (TCH’s) the current three year credit cycle ends on September 30th 2015.

Ø  Central Section Golf Outing: - will be held at Bunker Hill Golf Course 220 Bunker Hill Rd in Princeton on Friday September 18, 2015. I would like to encourage everyone to join us for a fun day out. I want to thank all Sponsors who have made donations and/or contributed door prizes to make this event possible. All Sponsors will be recognized at the Golf Outing and at the Awards Banquet. As you know the majority of the donations made at this event go towards the (4) Scholarships given out each year at the Annual Awards Scholarship Banquet in January. I would like to thank everyone including all the officers and Roger Parkhurst for all their hard work in putting this event together.

Ø  Annual Awards Scholarship Banquet: - scheduled for January 16, 2016 from 6:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. The location is: The Bridgewater Manor, 1251 Route 202-206 in Bridgewater, NJ 08807.

Ø  I would like to thank Jennifer Loudon - for putting together the Central Section’s Special Event, “Patriot’s Game with BBQ and Fireworks” should be a fun night out. I want to thank Eric Reichert for putting it on our Web Site. The cost of the event is $30.00 per person with children under five free.

Ø  Weftec Conference in Chicago - September 26th – September 30st; the Central Section Business Meeting will not be held in October but will resume again on November 4, at Russo’s on 33.

Alan Friedrich - Good & Welfare – Basket will be sent to Ike Welcome’s family after they get back from his burial in the Islands.

Roseann Pettrow- Awards Dinner is January 16th 2016 at Bridgewater Manor.

Jen Loudon - Special Activities – Friday, September 25th Baseball & Barbecue. We are looking for ideas on small activities the section can do add to our existing fundraisers.

Roger Parkhurst – Late but Carrie Anne made announcement for Golf Outing on September 18th at Bunker Hill and we need sponsors and golfers.

Robert Noel - Education & Seminars Programs – Looking for more speakers, please contact me anyone who is interested.

Jeff Williams – Manual of Practice – No Report

Eric Reichert – Webmaster – No Report and everything seems to be working

Henry Penley - Membership roster – For a copy of the roster, please email me your information or hand me your business card at the meeting.

Rob Pennington - Scholar Awards – Absent, but as of today we have received 2 scholarships.

Jen Loudon Young Professionals – Please support our YP Co-Chair, Megan Livak, as she participates in the New York City Marathon on November 1, 2015. She’ll be running with the TCS team to raise money forWater for People. An amazing feat for an amazing cause! To show your support for Megan with a financial contribution, contact her r go to herfundraising page. Go Megan!! For more information about what is going on with the YP’s please stop by and see Jen Loudon after the meeting.

11. New Business:

Jim Lafferty made a motion to Approve the two scholarship recipients that currently meet all qualification for receiving a scholarship from central section whose names are Cole Cornacchia and Catherine Metcalfe, along with extending the date for scholarship applications until September 30th.
