Thank you for your letter of Nov.1st, in which you have made a counter -offer at USD25 per doz.CIFC3%Kuwait for our numbering machines.
After careful consideration,we must say frankly that we are unable to grant the reduction you asked for.
We understand,however, that the quantity you required is only 25 dozen. If you can increase it to 100 doz., we may consider allowing you a 5%commission for separate orders totaling 100 dozen.

5. 续订货 A repeat order

6. 零散订货Separate orders
Dear Sirs,
The demand for Finex Houseman Paints has been so heavy this month that our stocks, generally quite high at this time of the year,have fallen to a minimum.This means that we shall be unable to wait for the next bulk delivery,but must replenish stocks at once.
The attached order,No.4743,is for a total of 56 boxes.As this falls appreciably short of the amount necessary to qualify for the maximum discount,we cannot claim it. Nevertheless, as customers of long standing we feel that we may ask you to include this order with our quarterly one due next month in order that we may take advantage of the best terms.
We shall be obliged if you would treat this order as urgent and arrange for immediate delivery.
7. 难以接受订单并致歉 Unable to accept an order and apologize
It was a pleasureto receive the sizable order for Vinyl Raincoats which you were good enough to place with us.However, we regret to inform youthat the demand of late has been so great that the manufacturers, who usually keep a big reserve stock, have not a single piece of vinyl materials left, and we are not certain when we can expect delivery. Under these circumstances, we regret our inability to serve you at the moment.
8. 接受订单并希望长期保持业务关系 Accept an order and hope to maintain a long-standing business relationship
It delighted us very much to receive such a good order from you after a lapse of time which had been regrettably long.
Our factory has been instructed to start manufacture at once,and the goods will be shipped on board the "Ganges" which is scheduled to sail from Kobe on or about the May 21. We hope this order will be followed by many more.

9. 建议改为替代产品Suggest a replacement
Thank you for your order of August 31st for 1,000 pieces each of Nos.5 and 6 linen cloth.
Unfortunately, No.5 quality is out of stock at present and will not be available again before the end of October .We can,however,offer the slightly better,very similar quality No.7-27 quality instead, which is in stock and perhaps even more suitable for your market.Please let us know whether we may send it with quality No.4 which we have reserved for you.
If you care to cable us at once we could dispatch the goods by the steamer available at the end of this month so as to reach you in time for your Christmas trade.

10. 对对方订单中的某些条件不能接受 A partial refusal of some terms in the order
We thank you for your order No.4743,which is receiving immediate attention and will be delivered within this week.We,too,have had a run on Houseman Paints with the result that we may not be able to supply you with every color marked on your order.
With regard to your request for the inclusion of this order with your quarterly order,we regret that this would not be possible since it would involve extended credit at maximum discount.What weare prepared to do,however,is to invoice this order separately but at full discount.
