OFFICIAL NOTICE

Pursuant to the direction of the Dubuque County Zoning Board of Adjustment, notice is hereby given to all interested citizens of Dubuque County, Iowa that on TUESDAY, JULY 1 , 2014 AT 7:00 P.M., at the Emergency Services Training Facility, 14928 Public Safety Way (off Seippel Road) Dubuque, Iowa a PUBLIC HEARING will be held on the following proposals:

1. BA#07-23-14 CARL & MARY BREEN VARIANCE

The applicants are requesting a 15’ front yard variance to the 30’ required to build a 27’x 41’ home addition 15’ from the front property line along Ryan Road in an R-3, Single Family Residential zoning district. The property, located approximately four (4) miles south of the City of Dubuque along Ryan Road is legally described as Lot 1 of Hanley Farm Place #3, Section 29 (T88N R2E) Table Mound Township, Dubuque County, Iowa.

2. BA#07-24-14 CHAD ELLIS CONSTRUCTION INC. VARIANCE

The applicant is requesting a 6’ front yard variance to the 50’ required to build a 6’x 40’ home addition 44’ from the front property line along Barony Drive in an R-2, Single Family Residential zoning district. The property, located just outside the City of Dubuque corporate border at the intersection of Barony Drive and Kingston Way is legally described as Lot 1-11 Block 1 of Barony Woods, Section 9 (T89N R2E) Dubuque Township, Dubuque County, Iowa.

3. BA#07-25-14 RICHARD & SANDRA GROTHE VARIANCE

The applicants are requesting a 5’ left side yard variance to the 50’ required to build a 12’x 22’ garage addition 45’ from the left side yard property line along Reagan Court in an R-1, Rural Residential zoning district. The property, located .5 miles south of the City of Dubuque just off of Briarwood Drive along Reagan Court is legally described as Lot 13 of Briarwood Subdivision, Section 12 (T88N R1E) Vernon Township, Dubuque County, Iowa.

4. BA#07-26-14 COREY HARVEY VARIANCE

The applicant is requesting a 52’ front yard variance to the 80’ required to build a 24’x 36’ accessory structure 28’ from the front yard property line along Paradise Valley Road in a C-1, Conservancy zoning district. The property, located 1.69 miles west of the City of Durango along Paradise Valley Road is legally described as Lot 2-2 of Mineral Lot 441, Section 35 (T90N R1E) Jefferson Township, Dubuque County, Iowa.
