Puppy Reservation Process and Information

• Please fill out my Puppy Buyer Questionnaire. This must be returned to me before I will put you on my puppy list. I require a $500 deposit once the pregnancy has been confirmed. Our current price for a Companion puppy is $2,200.

• After I review your questionnaire, I will contact you. I would like prospective buyers out to my house so I can get to know them better and so they can meet my dogs. I do require the entire family to attend this visit when applicable. Different arrangements will be made for non-local families.

• All the information about the litter is on the web site. Copies of genetic clearances will be in the final “take home” packet. If you require a hard copy about the litter, please let me know.

• Contracts are signed in duplicate when your puppy goes home. Copies of my contract will be mailed to you a few weeks before the puppy goes home. Please take a moment to review the contract before your puppy goes home. If you have any questions about my contract, please ask prior to picking up your puppy.

• Please note: While I will try my very best to get you a puppy from the litter you are interested in, being put on the waiting list does not guarantee you will receive a puppy from that litter. There are simply too many variables involved in placing puppies. Some of the variables include litter size and sex of the puppies. I do not over promise puppies due to these variables. If I do not have a puppy for you I will return your deposit.

• I always reserve the right to decide who receives one of my puppies. Finding the right home for each puppy is of utmost importance to me.

• Show quality puppies are always chosen first and their placement takes priority over the choosing of pet puppies. This is in part due to the particular requirements for show puppies.

• As a general rule, I will be the one choosing which puppies go to which homes. This is of course done in close consultation with the puppy buyer to insure that everyone gets the puppy who best fits their requirements.

• If none of the puppies available are suitable you may wait for the next litter or go to another breeder. I am always happy to make referrals to other reputable breeders.

• Puppies usually go home between 7-9 weeks depending on when I am able to determine which puppies are potential show dogs and if the pups are mature enough to go home.
