You will be assigned to investigate one of the prominent thinkers of the Enlightenment. Information can be found using the links provided below. Your presentation should include the following information about the Philiosophe you have been assigned:

·  Date and place of birth & death

·  A brief overview of his family history

·  Education Received

·  Significant works published. Include the title of each work with a brief summary of the main points if possible.

·  Summarize in 3 to 5 sentences the key ideas that make up the philosophies of your assigned thinker. Remember, the focus of this investigation centers on the question, "How should societies govern themselves?"
