Plant Health Movement Document
Plant Health Movement Document / The Plant Movement Document is completed only in case where only the documentary check is processed at the BIP, and the 2 other controls being Identity and Phytosanitary checks are performed at an aggregated point of destination. /
Plant Passport / The plant passport shall take the form of a distinct label, which shall be printed on any suitable substrate, provided that the plant passport is kept separate from any other information or label which may also be indicated on that substrate.
The plant passport shall be clearly legible and indelible.
Plant Passport / Plant passports shall be required for all movements between professional operators, but not for sales to final nonprofessional users. The plant passport will be simplified and harmonised. Instead of a lot number, the plant passport may use a chip, barcode or hologram linking to the internal traceability systems of professional operators. In case of replacement of original plant passport for a split of consignment (Directive 2000/29 article 10 3.) : the replacement passport must bear a special mark, specified in accordance with paragraph 4 and including the number of the original producer and, if there was a change in plant-health status, of the operator responsible for that change. /
