0T3 Council Meeting Minutes– Oct 21/02 (12-1:00pm)
In Attendance: Sumit Raybardhan, Anna Lisa Campos, Dennis Laswardi, Jauher Ahmad, Manjit Hansra, Wendy Jansen, Joanne Chan, Manju Sharma, Robyn Knight. Melissa Laderoute, Brian Mok, Julianne Labelle, Cheryl Harten
Absent: Curtis Latimer, Marco D’Angelo, Chris Lam
Mock PEBCs – Nov 26th – 3 hours – no class that day
- presentation first then the test
- test to make money for the class ~$300
- to set qualifying exam for foreign trained pharmacists
- 50 MC – not reflective of PEBC exam
A&P boat cruise - Nov 21st – Thursday – only 90 people….first come first serve
Points committee meeting – Grad reps to decide how many points to give each person on the committee – up to Manju and Julianne
Rite Aid trip – to Michigan – Nov 1st or 8th weekend
- they offered to pay for gas, hotel, food etc.
Silent Auction – please bid, lots of items etc.

Fundraising committee – charity week 25th-29th
- Monday – prof auction 12-1pm
- Tuesday - ?
- Wednesday – bake sale
- Thursday - ?
- Friday – raffle & draw, food bank
- 4th year event at 1pm
e.g. date auction, “wacky day” – ppl doing stupid things for bids
- profits going to Camp Oochigeas
Social – 1st year Hallowe’en Party – Oct. 30 @ Sugar nightclub
- costumes optional
- tickets $5
Residency – St. Joe’s, Hamilton – Oct. 29th – not yet aware of details.
- LHSC – 26th/27th – interviews for residency
Athletics – Bowling – November 7 –6-8pm
- $12, only room for 36 people
- selling tickets – faculty-wide
Finance – our class is getting balance of KEY
- current account balance ~$18, 000, but doesn’t include payout for sweatshirts, lab coats and homecoming stuff.
- need budget for grad reps.
Grad committee – soliciting companies – will start follow up phone calls
- will present to council grad details next meeting
- will vote for Phollies song Wed/Thurs
- voting for Phollies hosts next week….will have auditions to show talent (30s–1 min)
- decide on valedictorian next week
- email going out about Song lyrics
CAPSI – sign up for counselling and compounding competitions
Yearbook – decided to do baby/grade school photos
