StewardshipCorner
The crowd in today’s Gospel demanded a sign from Jesus. May our faithful stewardship be a sign that we, like the Ephesians in the second reading, have laid aside our former way of life and acquired a “fresh, spiritual way of thinking” in Christ.
LeaveaLegacy Can you answer “yes” to any of these?--I want more income from my property;--I own property and need a tax deduction;--I want to sell some property but avoid capital gains tax. If so, call Humboldt Area Foundation (442-2993) to find out how a Charitable Remainder Trust benefiting St. Bernard Parish can achieve your goals.
If you wish to ensure deductibility of your contributions, please use a check with your parish number, or your parish envelopes.
The parish will track contributions made using parish envelopes, and checks with parish number. THE PARISH CANNOT TRACK CASH AND CHECKS NOT IN PARISH ENVELOPES OR CHECKS WITHOUT YOUR NUMBER ON THEM. PLEASE PUT YOUR PARISH NUMBER ON ALL LOOSE CHECKS. If you don’t know what your number is please call the office @ 442-6466.
