Purpose
The National Certificate in Educational Administration (Governance) [Ref: 0416] recognises the skills and knowledge required by a school board trustee. Holders of this qualification are able to demonstrate knowledge of the roles and responsibilities of Boards of Trustees.
This qualification is designed for people who are, or aspire to be a school board trustee and wish to enhance their capacity and confidence to be effective in a governance role. The qualification is designed as a ‘stand alone’ qualification and assumes that holders of this qualification may have a background of prior knowledge in a particular area, for example, property, finance, human resources management.
