Project Grad Meeting for Junior parents, Thursday, January 14 @ 5:30 in Room 940

Seniors of 2016, if you are considering attending a Baptist University please see Mrs. Giddens in the Go Center to apply for the newly endowed Class of 1974 scholarship.

The Students of Color will meet today at 4:00 pm in room 223 to discuss upcoming events; maximum participation requested!

Culture Exchange Club will meet today, Room 101, immediately after school.

9th, 10th, and 11th grade students TODAY is the last day to nominate your class favorites during 3rd period.

Saturday, January 16th at 6:00PM is Nacogdoches ISD Day at the SFA Basketball Games.

There will be a GIRLS Track meeting, today, at 4:05 pm, Room 100. Any girls planning to run track this spring should attend.

BASEBALL TRYOUTS WILL BE HELD JANUARY 29 AFTER SCHOOL. PLEASE COME BY ROOM 106 TO SIGN UP. YOU MUST HAVE A PHYSCIAL ON FILE TO PARTICIPATE IN TRYOUTS.

If you are interested in running Boys Track and Field, we will have a meeting on Wednesday, January 13th, at 4:05 in the freshman commons. The meeting will last 10 minutes.

All young ladies that are interested in trying out for the Softball team need to attend a mandatory meeting on Tuesday, January 19th after school at 4:05 in Coach Carver's room, Room 606. Tryouts will begin at 4:15 on Friday, January 22nd. You must have a physical on file or obtain one and turn into the athletic training office in order to participate in tryouts.

Application is Open for Texas High School Juniors! Subiendo is a leadership academy, June 12 - 16, 2016, hosted on the University of Texas campus. Deadline is January 31, 2016.

If you are interested in the Sea Camps hosted by Texas A&M’s Galveston campus or visiting TAMU Galveston for Marine Biology or the Sea Aggie/Merchant Marine program, see Ms. Theiss in Room 201.

Pre order your long sleeve Dragon Spirit Never Fades shirt from any DECA member, or see Mrs. Dicks in room 310. Orders are only available through January 14th, so hurry!

ATTENTION SENIORS, if you are planning to attend SFA, the Smith-Hutson Scholarship application is available in Room 201. The submission deadline is February 26, 2016. You must possess academic potential and demonstrate financial need in order to apply for this scholarship which could pay up to $17,500 per year at SFA! See Mrs. Theiss for an application!
