Fletcher Thompson Principal named ‘Gold Seal Award’ Recipient

Shelton, CT, November 1, 2007 - Mike Marcinek who serves as the firm’s Senior Partner and Chief Financial Officer was one of four honored for their dedication and outstanding community service in the valley by the Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce. During Thursday night’s banquet at John Sullivan’s in Ansonia, Mike received the ‘Gold Seal Award’. This award pays tribute to outstanding service and lasting contributions to our region. This year marks the 36th year the Chamber has awarded this most prestigious honor.

Mike currently serves as the 2007- 2008 Campaign Chairman and Vice Chairman on the Board of the Valley United Way. In addition, he is a Board Member for Junior Achievement of Western Connecticut, The Shelton Economic Development Corporation, Parent-Child Resource Center (PCRC), The Dan Orkowsky Foundation and The Great Valley Chamber of Commerce. He is dedicated to the Valley United Way and its mission, and has spent hundreds of hours volunteering his time giving back to the community.
