Admissions: Admission chargeforFriday'ssessionwillbe$3.00foradultsandchildrenunder12years of age are free. Admissionchargeforspectatorsforallothersessionswillbe$5.00foradults, $4.00 for senior citizens and citizens with a valid Military ID or in uniform, and$3.00forchildren6and older.

Heat Sheets: Heat sheets will be available for $3.00 per session. The meet will also be made available on Meet Mobile.

Warmups: Warm-up lane assignments will be determined after entries have closed.

1.)Official entry form, all entry fees and swimmer surcharges are due within 72 hours following entry acceptance.

2.)E-mail entries must be in the form of a Hy-Tek Meet Manager generated format. You must “zip” the file so that it arrives to the entry chair intact to the following e-mail: . Hinsdale Swim Club will use Hy-Tek Meet Manager 6.0 software to run the meet.

3.)Your club’s entire entry must be sent in one e-mail. Please do not send multiple e-mails which compose one single team entry. The host club accepts no responsibility for receipt or quality of the transmission.

4.)Allentriesmustbesubmittedinyardtimes.

Swimmers with Disabilities: In accordance with USA Swimming Rules, Articles 105 and 202.1.13, the Meet Referee has the authority to accommodate swimmers with disabilities. It is the responsibility of the coaches or swimmers to contact the Meet Referee with specific requests.

Entry Limitations:1.) Swimmersare limited tofour events persession,notcounting relays. Swimmersmustparticipate inone individualeventtobe eligible toswimonrelayteams. 2.) 13 & Over Swimmers may ONLY swim one event for events 35 – 38, 73 – 76 and 79 – 82 in Sessions 3 and 6 of the meet.

Relays: The host club reserves the right to cancel the relay events listed in Sessions 2, 3, 5 and 6 in order to ensure completion of the session within a 4-hour time frame. Any relay entries that are cut by the host club will be refunded.

LongEvent Entry Limit:Itmaybenecessarytolimit entriesfortheFriday evening events, the 1000 FREE on Saturday as well as the 13 & Over 200 BACK, 200 FLY and 200 BREAST on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Entries fortheseeventswillbedeterminedbyfastestseedtimes.Swimmers must provide theirowncounterforthe500and 1000 FREE. Noexceptions. Warm-Up Procedure

A. WARM-UP PROCEDURES

1. General Warm-up

There will be assigned warm-up lanes for this meet.

B. SAFETY GUIDELINES

1. Coaches’ Responsibilities

a. Coaches shall instruct their swimmers regarding safety guidelines and warm-up procedures asthey apply to conduct at meets and practices.

b. Coaches shall actively supervise their swimmers throughout the warm-up session at meets and all practices.

c.Coaches shall remind their swimmers of proper, safe behavior to be demonstrated in the cafeteria and bullpen, and swimmers should be instructed not to explore other parts of the high school, including but not limited to the gym.

2. Host Team Responsibilities

a. Marshaling

1) A minimum of two (2) marshals, who report to and receive instructions from the MeetReferee, shall be on the deck during the warm-up session.

2) Marshals shall be current members of USA Swimming.

3) Marshals shall have the authority to remove from the deck, for the remainder of thewarm-up session, any swimmer or coach who is in violation of safety or warm-upprocedures.

b. The host team shall provide signs for each lane at both ends of the pool, which indicate thedesignated use during warm-up.

c. Warm-up times and lane assignments shall be published in the meet information and posted atseveral locations around the pool area. The following statement shall appear in the information: “Illinois Swimming, Inc. Safety Guidelines and Warm-up Procedures will be in affect at this meet.”

d. An announcer shall be on duty for the entire Warm-up session to announce lane and/or timechanges and to assist with the conduct of the Warm-up.

e. Hazards in locker rooms, on the deck area or in areas used by coaches, swimmers, spectators, or officials shall be removed or clearly marked.

3. Miscellaneous:

a. Backstrokers shall ensure that they are not starting at the same time as a swimmer on the blocks.

b. Swimmers shall not jump or dive into the pool to stop another swimmer on a recalled start.

c. Swimmers are required to exit the pool upon completion of their warm-up to allow otherswimmers adequate warm-up time. The pool is not for visiting or playing during the warm-upsession.

d. Warm-up procedures shall be enforced for any breaks scheduled during the competition.

e. The Referee may restrict use of bands, hand paddles, or fins during warm-up. The Referee shall have control over mitigation actions necessary to relieve situations deemed as dangerous orimpairing the safety of other swimmers.
